Aren’t they just precious?! I’m SO excited for Kelli & Dustin and was thrilled when I got an email from Kelli about a week after Dustin proposed asking me about wedding photography 🙂 I’ve gotten to watch Kelli grow up in Austin a bit through high school and was excited when we re-connected as adults – and now I get to see her through Dustin’s eyes and witness how happy he makes her. Two weeks ago on my trip to Austin I was able to fly in a bit earlier and and meet up with them for their engagement session. I got to hear the engagement story first hand and even watch the YouTube video of Dustin proposing to Kelli at an Eli Young Band concert. You could instantly see the chemistry between them and how much Kelli is loved and adored by this true Texas cowboy 😉
Once we went over outfit choices and talked wedding stuff, we grabbed their fur babies (dogs) and headed out to Emma Long park where Dustin fishes to capture some natural engagement photos for them. They made my job so easy and it was a lot of fun getting to see them interact with one another and know that they’re going to have a lifetime of happiness and have found their match in each other. As soon as I sent Kelli her images last week, I received possibly one of the most memorable text messages from a bride ever: ” We absolutely love them!!! Thanks to you we were able to feel comfortable. Seeing the photos made me fall even more in love with him!” Kelli – you are a ‘crazy girl’ and we all love you and are so happy for you! Can’t wait for your wedding next summer in my neck of the woods – good ‘ol Dripping Springs!! Big Hugs! Jessica
Kelli – You are gorgeous!!
Dustin – thanks for indulging me…you see, he put on his hat like this naturally and I yelled “Stop! do it again! hold that! Oh I miss Texas!!” Love it 🙂
