Happy Freyday!!! I’m sorry my personal “Frey” day posts haven’t been as frequent…but….you guys, I have a one year old. Who walks. And is awesome. And needs 24/hr attention. Whew! It’s been an incredible year being a mom and I’m so excited to share with you all his 1st birthday party – a Lumberjack theme party! I had so much fun decorating and creating a fun table full of lumberjack party ideas – bear poop, sticks, lincoln logs, gold bars, and bears! So, I didn’t think I would be ‘that mom’ but Pinterest sucked me in and gave me all these great ideas for details and my clients know, I’m a sucker for details – so you bet we had an Outhouse sign on the bathroom door! We all wore flannel and good thing it was 45 degrees out here in Texas that day!
And, because it’s the holidays, I’d love to share with you all the easiest, most delicious treat ever. These treats make me look good at every party I go to, and seriously takes 5 minutes to make. Write this down:
1 package of butterscotch morsels (yellow Nestle bag in the bakery aisle)
1 cup peanut butter (creamy)
3-4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Melt the butterscotch morsels and peanut butter in a microwavable bowl for 30 seconds. Stir well. Repeat two more times until the mixture is creamy.
Pour the Rice Krispies into the melted butterscotch/peanut butter. Stir until they’re all coated.
Pour warm mixture into an 8×8 pan of your choice…pat it evenly down with the spoon and let it cool!
That’s it! Cut into bars and enjoy!!
