What a way to wrap up my 2018 wedding season! Marcos and Allison picked the GORGEOUS historical TFWC Mansion in downtown Austin, Texas to say “I Do!” Their wedding happened on the last Saturday of 2018 and may have been a bit chilly, but the cold weather couldn’t stop these two from having a great day!
Marcos and Allison opted to have a first look!
Even though it was in the 40s this afternoon, their entire bridal party did a GREAT job of braving the cold!
When you get married at a beautiful, historical mansion, you should make time for some indoor portraits, too!
Marcos’ family came in from Spain for their wedding day. They made sure to have their ceremony and toasts said in English and Spanish. Allison spent some time in Spain during college, so she is a fluent Spanish speaker, as well – that’s actually the reason they met! They also set up a Facebook Live stream, so that family from Spain who couldn’t make the trip could still be a part of their day by watching it live.
With their love for all things Spain, they hired Chef Fer Candil to cater their wedding dinner. Chef was born and raised in Madrid, so she cooks with her own authentic family recipes that have been passed down for generations. It was SO GOOD!
Congratulations, Marcos and Allison!
