Garden Grove Austin Wedding Reception – Josh & Brittany

Garden Grove Austin Wedding Reception – Josh & Brittany

I am so excited to share Part 2 of Brittany & Josh’s Garden Grove Austin wedding day! Their reception was beautiful and full of so many personal touches.  The bride and groom have been collecting/growing all the succulents and greenery in their home over the past year and created gifts for their family and friends out of the succulents!  I have mine on my dining room table and love it – and this couple!  Take a look at the gorgeous grounds of Garden Grove, a wedding and event venue in South Austin….and if you missed Part 1 of their beautiful Austin wedding day, make sure to scroll back up and click here:  http://jessicafreyphotographyblog.com/garden-grove-austin-wedding-josh-brittany Wishing you both a lifetime of adventures and happiness together!! xoxoxo   Jessica I love all the personal touches at the ceremony/reception – like the groom made this arbor and they both collected succulents to decorate with and provide as gifts to their friends and families! This is the groom’s talented friend (sorry friend, I forgot your name!) who came all the way from Canada to be a part of Josh & Brittany’s wedding day! Something about ripping up a dollar together and dying on the same day??  🙂  Congratulations Josh & Brittany!! —– VENDORS: Location: Garden Grove Wedding Dress: Maggie Sottero – Deirdre Gown   from Belle Saison    Groom’s Suit: Ted Baker Floral: Bride & Groom’s garden & succulent collection + Gina Provopulous Hair: Method     |   Makeup: Charli Reno Cake: For Goodness Cakes & Bit of Cake Catering: D&R BBQ, The Naughty Texan —— Jessica is now booking 2018 weddings in...

Garden Grove Austin Wedding – Josh & Brittany

Congratulations Josh & Brittany!!!  These two had such a sweet, beautiful wedding day surrounded by family and friends at one of my favorite Hill Country wedding venues, Garden Grove Austin!  The sun shone down, all the details fell into place and I got to be a part of a love story unfolding and am so grateful to have met these two only a few months ago while they modeled for my wedding photography workshop!!  Take a peek at some of my favorite photos below from Part 1 and make sure to come back in a few days for Part 2! (one of my new favorite ‘getting ready’ photos of Brittany peeking in on her dress just moments before slipping it on!) Who doesn’t want to twirl all day long in a dress this gorgeous!?! Cutest flower girls & ring bearer ever, am I right?!?! So many special pieces helped make up their wedding day….. the succulents were collected and planted for each guest & the decor by Brittany & Josh over the past year…. This gorgeous hand made sign was created by the groom and decorated by their close friend…. The lights were passed down by Josh’s grandpa who collected them. Congratulations Josh & Brittany!! Stay tuned for Part 2 coming soon! —– VENDORS: Location: Garden Grove Wedding Dress: Maggie Sottero – Deirdre Gown   from Belle Saison    Groom’s Suit: Ted Baker Floral: Bride & Groom’s garden & succulent collection + Gina Provopulous Hair: Method     |   Makeup: Charli Reno Cake: For Goodness Cakes & Bit of Cake Catering: D&R BBQ, The Naughty Texan —— Jessica...

Garden Grove Austin Wedding Events – Summer Wedding Open House

There are so many amazing vendors in the Austin, Tx Hill Country area and I love getting to attend events that showcase their talents (and see their shining faces!) while they talk to and inspire couples looking for ideas/vendors for their wedding day.  Last month, I joined my friend-dors at Garden Grove Weddings & Events in Buda, Texas (just south of Austin and the location of our Spanish styled wedding photography workshop!!).  The “summer” vibe party was so much fun and I loved the look everyone below pulled together…plus….anytime I see the Peached Tortilla catering truck, this girl gets HUNGRY and EXCITED!!! Camp Lucy – Ian’s Chapel Wedding Reception – Ryan & Courtney

Party!!!  Celebrating the new couple is always so much fun to be a part of and Ryan & Courtney’s Camp Lucy wedding reception was wonderful! With beautiful details and florals by Whim Hospitality, up-lighting and chandeliers by Altared Weddings and live music by The Pictures Band their guests couldn’t help but have an amazing time….then around 10pm, a brownie sundae bar was set up by Whim Catering before a fun sparkler exit outside of Ian’s Chapel!  There was so much planning and effort put into making this celebration gorgeous, but more importantly, seeing the couple, their families and friends have so much fun was the best part and why I love being a Camp Lucy wedding photographer! Ryan & Courtney – congratulations on an amazing day! Wishing you two a lifetime of dancing together and adventures!!  Kay – Amazing job!!   (Scroll down to view all their incredible vendors and check them out if you’re planning an Austin wedding or Hill Country wedding day!) Camp Lucy – Ian’s Chapel Wedding – Ryan & Courtney Part 2

Camp Lucy – Ian’s Chapel Wedding – Ryan & Courtney Part 2

Congratulations Ryan & Courtney!!  The weather held out for their outdoor Ian’s Chapel overlook ceremony at Camp Lucy and we were all so thankful! One of the things I see often at destination Camp Lucy weddings is having all your guests come in buses from the hotel and for the first time in 10 years, I saw something that was an amazing idea and perfectly executed by Much Ado Austin and her team….providing a champagne welcome toast as the guests arrived for the ceremony!  Not just any toast, but each glass had the guest’s name and table number on a circle attached to the glass!  What a unique and fun way to start the celebration! Here is a look at the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and a sneak peek at the Reception decor!  I’m in love with the spring colors, gorgeous floral and the lapis blue and coral color pallet!  Enjoy! If you missed it, scroll back up here when you’re done with Part 2 and check out Part 1: Camp Lucy – Ian’s Chapel Wedding – Ryan & Courtney Amazing live music by Terra Vista Strings! Ryan & Courtney – you guys are so very loved! “oh my gosh we’re married” look 🙂  The new Mr. and Mrs! Seee…Family photos are quick, easy and FUN! Cocktail Hour at Ian’s Chapel is always so gorgeous! I see you Ms. O’Bryan being an amazing coordinator and gathering all the guests for the reception!  Whim Catering appetizers are the BEST!  Bacon wrapped figs?!?!  Yum!   Cheers to the new couple! Time to head into the reception! Oooooh…..I LOVE how elegant and fresh...
