Happy Halloween everyone!! Eric and I are back in Austin, TX after a whirlwind trip to California…and our last day there we had tickets to attend the annual Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disneyland!! It’s our 3rd year and always a bit too much fun for me – especially with my costume and how perfect Eric’s costume is this year! I’m still living out a childhood dream and job I didn’t get while working at Disney World…and Disney Cosplay (as their calling it for adults) seems to be the cool thing to do, yeah?
My year was made though when we were approached by security saying they had gotten a call about me from a cast member working in Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique…..a security call that I had lost my cast member assigned to help me. You know, me. Cinderella. Cast member. It apparently looked like I needed security since my crowd was growing and there were too many photographers around me without the help of a character greeter and I was stuck. Yeah, it was heartbreaking to tell security that I was just a guest with an amazing costume and not an actual cast member! Oh well, I enjoyed my day of living out a dream and am so thankful to have a husband and best friend who played along with me and had a great time at the happiest place on earth!! Here are some awesome photos my bestie, Jennifer Williams took while we were there (who by the way made an AWESOME Mary-approved Mary Poppins!!) Bakersfield brides…if you need a wedding photographer, she’s my top choice!! Also, thank you to Bakersfield wedding alterations fairy godmother, Mary Rita Nommensen for making my dress from last year look incredible!
These cuties were adorable and I loved hearing from the little girl how much she loves Cinderella too!
Every princess has a ‘weeping’ pose, right? Waiting for my Fairy Godmother to arrive in the new Princess area at Disneyland!
My handsome Viking!! What else could be perfect for Eric’s big beautiful red travel beard?!
He’s a keeper.
We go so many compliments about our group and costumes!!! Jen even got a wave and a wink from Mary Poppins herself!
And….to prove we weren’t the only adults playing dress up at Disneyland….here’s a group I ran into!
Hope you guys all have a great and safe Halloween!! Comment below what you’re dressing up as!!
