HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEET FUR-BABY!!!   You guys know how much I LOVE and adore my Kayla and today is her 10th birthday!!  So to celebrate, I’ve compiled a group of photos to dedicate to her and for me to have to look back on!  This sweet girl has been the most perfect addition to our family and I’m sure she’ll get some extra treats today…and maybe a new toy!

A few fun facts:

– Kayla was born Nov 7, 2004 on a Horse Farm in Virginia to Lady Lucy II and White King III

– She’s taken 3 driving trips across the country & lived in 8 different houses with us in 10 years!

– She’s part of a family tradition….we’ve had Westies since my mom was younger – Kristy was the first, then KC, now Kayla and her cousin Kylie!  (We were cool before the Kardashians, right?!)

– She’s a delicate eater and has to taste test what you’re giving her before she eats it – we know she doesn’t like vegetables or anything green – but hand her a carrot or peanut butter and she thinks it’s the best treat in the world!

– We’ve tried for years to get her to swim at Bass Lake and she really hates being in the water, but does well on boat rides!

– She LOVES cats

-She survived a vicious raccoon attack at Bass Lake a few years ago that was one for the Frey family cabin memories!

 -She’s a lover, snuggler and enjoys her nightly routine of kisses for Eric!

She kills raccoons.  Seriously – well sortof – she got attacked by 4 one night at our cabin and survived without a scratch!
