May 2020 was a month of celebration amidst a global pandemic for Dakota and Melodie. Graduation from Texas A&M and a whirlwind of decisions to keep their original wedding date but make it intimate and a little different than originally intended. I’m so thrilled they chose to celebrate safely and surround themselves with a handful of family and friends as they committed to one another under an archway of the most beautiful flowers designed by Flora Eventi. It was an exciting day and I feel so honored and blessed to have gotten to know these two and their families. I know we can all agree that the resemblance to a princess and prince in their fairytale chateau is so wonderful, but even more so their kindness and generosity and spirits made it even more fun to be around. Melodie’s beauty shines from within (make sure to check out her Chateau Cocomar Bridals post here when you scroll back up: Melodie’s Bridals) and Dakota’s smile lights up anytime she’s around.
Special thank you to Chateau Cocomar owner and planner Karen and sweet Karissa for trusting me and making this such a special day and weekend for Dakota and Melodie! It was so wonderful to be a part of it and capture for generations to come. So, take a seat and scroll through this beautiful Houston wedding at the incomparable Chateau Cocomar and make sure to check out their vendors listed below and leave them some comment love!
