Hey everyone!  Well, it’s Freyday and that means another personal blog post – and some photos of our adventure to San Diego to celebrate Eric’s 30th birthday this week!  With a high of 72, I was really glad to not be home especially since Bakersfield finally found summer and was experiencing 106.  Yikes!   We spent 3 days exploring the Gaslamp District, Mission Bay and Coronado Island.   I kept seeing so many gorgeous places to shoot engagement photos….so if anyone lives there I’d be up for coming back for photos or even a wedding!  Here are a mixture of professional camera shots and party cam shots of our visit…so enjoy!  Have a wonderful weekend — I’m back on the road today to shoot a Disneyland wedding in Anaheim with my good friend Jennifer Williams!  How excited do you think I am?!?!  😉

Mission Bay

Oh…Coronado, how much we enjoy visiting!!  Always so laid back 🙂  I’m always up for a Del Coronado wedding if anyone was wondering!

 

On Wednesday I spent 5 hour’s on a dive boat…Eric did 3 wreck dives out at Mission Bay’s Wreck Alley….and I successfully sat on the boat without throwing up!  In case you were wondering, I don’t dive – first it was ear pressure issues (I’m the kid that could never retrieve the pool sticks if they were past 4 feet!) then after scuba diving in Maui I realized that I scream when fish touch me.  Seriously, it was slightly traumatizing for me!

We had a Bakersfield birthday dinner with our good friends before heading to San Diego & Thousand Oaks….and celebrated with a huge football!  Thank you to Stephanie from Gimme Some Sugar for making Eric’s Navy football cake!
