Jessica Frey Photography is growing!

Actually it grew a while back, but I wanted to take an opportunity this spring to introduce formally to everyone my office assistant and now photography assistant, Rachel Popovich!  Rachel is such a sweet and caring person who came to work for me when my office was in a time of disarray and un-organization and she worked to get it back to a beautiful, organized place.  She is in charge of filing paperwork, inputting contracts and client information, processing receipts, getting my blog posts ready, and now you’ll more than likely see her at photo shoots assisting with my lighting setups, helping me with equipment and making it easier on both me and my fabulous clients!  I feel so blessed to have her working with me, so a BIG WELCOME and THANK YOU to Rachel!

So, Rachel, tell us a little about yourself!

Hi everyone!  My name is Rachel Popovich and I am Jessica’s assistant.  I started working with Jessica last year and I am proud to say that I love my job.  I am currently a full time student working my way to a degree in graphic design and can’t wait to put my love for creativity to use.  Outside of school, I love to play golf and it is one of my most favorite things to do.  I also enjoy playing with my adorable dog Abby, who is a West Highland Terrier just like Jessica’s dog Kayla.  Spending time with my family is an important part of my life.  They are my wonderful support system and I don’t know what I would do without them.  I love life and I try to enjoy it no matter what the situation!

What is your favorite movie?

I love practically any type of movie but I must say that my favorites are love stories (typical right?!).  I absolutely LOVE Jane Austin and “Pride and Prejudice” is one of my all time favorites!

Where is your dream vacation?

So, like Jessica, I am a huge Disneyland fanatic and jump at any opportunity to go and spend a day full of Disney magic and imagination.  One of my other favorite vacations is when my family and I go camping, hiking, and fishing ever year in the Sierra Nevadas.  I love spending time outside in the fresh mountain air.  But if I were to plan my dream vacation, it would have to be Europe!  A full tour of London, Paris, Rome, Italy, Vienna, and Ireland would be fantastic!  I love the historical culture and artistry that flourishes in Europe and it would truly be an experience of a lifetime.
