My husband.  He’s such a good sport….with all of his aches and pains he managed to indulge me in a photo shoot to celebrate our last active duty Marine Corps Birthday Ball!  A huge huge thank you to Casey Hardy of Casey Hardy Photography (you can view us on her blog today too here:  http://www.caseyhardyphoto.com/?p=633) for coming out to capture this special memory for me!  I’ll tell you what ladies – I’m not in front of the camera often, but chose to do it right…..I got my hair professionally done (Carleen at We Do Your Do Salon!), went the extra mile on makeup and rented an amazingly stunning dress (Rent the Runway).  Can I even put into words how much easier it is to be in front of a camera when you KNOW you lookin’ good?!?!   I felt SO confident for Casey and didn’t worry about my hair, my makeup and just had a lot of fun with it!!!    And now, I have some amazingly sweet photos that will be going up on my walls soon of our night at the Ball 😉

So to celebrate this weekend’s Marine Corps Birthday along with Veteran’s Day – THANK YOU to all of our past and presently serving men and women who keep us safe.  I am such a proud Military wife and proud to be an American (in a sparkly designer gown!)
