Hi everyone! After traveling and taking a major ‘oh my I’m really sick’ day yesterday I’m back today with a new blog concept. Wedding Wednesdays is pretty big in the industry on Twitter, so I’d love to showcase a bit more to my followers/brides-t0-be a look into real weddings from my brides! This first installment is from Tori, who is getting married this month! I asked her to share with you all a bit about her planning and advice she has to other brides planning their big day by answering 10 questions. Thanks, Tori…can’t wait for your big day! You and Trenton have been amazing clients to work with!

Keeping it under budget definitely!
It wasnt’t too stressful. My bridesmaids and I had gone to one shop and found NOTHING, then my best friend Tiffanie and I went by Ladies and Gents and tried on a dress we fell in love with. Then as i was changing, Tiff came back with another dress that we both agreed was the “ugliest dress in the world!” We giggled and said, “LET’S TRY IT ON JUST TO DO IT!!” As soon as I put the dress on and had it sized for me, we both looked at each other and agreed that the “UGLIEST DRESS” was “THE DRESS!” 😉 Aftrer making some changes through the designer, I have the most “BEAUTIFUL DRESS!”
I’ve loved being able to make our wedding our own! It really is not anything traditional. We wanted to personalize everything about it so that it’s never forgotten!
My fiance and I are writing our own vows to exchange with each other, but he has also written vows to exchange to my son (his new stepson)!! Our guests will not be able to keep the tears back!
1. BUDGET BUDGET BUDGET… I’m a bargain shopper, and will NOT pay full price for anything hehe
2. MAKING OUR WEDDING FUN AND UNFORGETTABLE! I want people to look back, and think about how much fun our wedding was and the unique, special touches we added=)
3. I can’t think of a third =) I really just want to make my special day the best it can be=)
IM MORE EXCITED!!! But nervous about everything coming together smoothly.. I know little things may happen, but I hope it goes PERFECTLY!
Our main wedding colors are actually black and white. We are pretty basic people and LOVE black and white. We are accenting with our colors which will be hot pink, turquoise, bright orange, lime green, and yellow! should be pretty bright!
I would probably just add more to my photography package =) I’m actually pretty satisfied with what we are doing!!
YOU CAN NEVER START PLANNING TOO EARLY!! It’s so much more work that I anticipated!.. and MAKE IT YOUR OWN! Let others give you suggestions and advice, but in the end.. IT’S YOUR DAY!! =)
Have a wonderful day everyone, and stay tuned for more advice from my 2011 brides!
