Bakersfield Engagement photos

Love, laughter, and spring is in the air for engagement photos in Bakersfield!  Last weekend, before I left for WPPI, I had the chance to see Gina again and meet her fiancee Vinny!  Gina & Vinny are getting hitched up near Sacramento this summer and came down to Bakersfield for the weekend to get their engagement photos done, and visit her fabulous sister Stephanie!  Fingers were crossed that the rain would hold off…and we ended up pushing the session up an hour to take advantage of some beautiful skies and the gorgeous green grass that is now taking over our hills!  It was beautiful, and Gina and Vinny were fabulous to work with even with the wind chill and occasional sprinkles coming down.  The ease that they laughed and loved each other was beautiful to watch and easy to capture (especially since I only had to tell ONE of my infamous jokes to get a fun reaction).  We included Gina’s precious dog and Vinny’s gorgeous daughter Nevaeh who was a great sport in the cold!!  Thank you ‘Ginny” for an amazingly fun photo shoot!  I cannot wait for your special day!  You guys rock!

*my camera was not hurt in the making of these images.  I did however learn never to stand down wind again from a champagne spray!

Cupcakes provided by Gimmee Some Sugar…by far the most fabulously delicious cupcakes in Bakersfield!  Always a good prop for photo shoots, so stop by the store at 2100 19th St # D anytime and tell Steph I sent you!

You two are fierce. Seriously….love it!
